The Freight House has provided for the local community for some time now.
The old false front truck repair facility has grown into a bustling transfer point for goods and services.
The addition of the green freight house was only natural as the town grew
and more freight was being carried by the railroad. There is plenty more room for expansion...
                 
   
   
The Freight House features laser cut walls, windows, window glazing, and doors. The freight doors are castings allowing you the ability to position them partially open for more realism. Over 50 of our own exclusive castings are included, all the details pictured except track, scenery, and the vehicle.
  
         
 
     
Laser cut shingles are provided for the truck repair roof and tarpaper for the freight house. Fast and easy techniques are presented to weather and age the walls and roofing materials. SierraWest color signs are also included.
      
                 
The loading dock is laser cut with stripwood legs and bracing. Wall and roof trim are also cut from stripwood. These components provide a tremendous amount of character and individuality to the kit. They have not been laser cut allowing you freedom to control aging and deterioration. Fast and simple to add, they are also an excellent introduction into craftsmen kit building techniques.
