O Scale Sawmill Hardware Machinery Series WP

Work is underway on creating an O Scale sawmill kit that will incorporate the WP series of machinery presented here. It will be based upon the Sturgeons Sawmill plans from Boone Morrison and the wonderful model constructed by Marty Jones that appeared in the 2007 Logging and Mining Annual. The sawmill kit will be offered without the machinery for those of you who already own the WP series.

The individual kits listed below includes all of the white metal details pictured, the original C.H.B. Models drawings, and the original instructions. The new “WP-SET” kit includes the original items just described plus at no additional charge a general assembly manual of construction methods and hints, weathering tips, photographs, and supplemental templates. The manual also includes information on the use of the machinery as well as how to arrange and drive the components. Kits are “hardware only” and do not include additional items like stripwood, brass wire, nbw’s, and the logs which are necessary to complete the models.
